I have never been happy about the appearance of my teeth.  They weren’t the right color, they were uneven and I have a space between my 2 front teeth.  I have worked in dentistry for over 20 years and I have seen the way people feel about themselves after they have their teeth corrected.  When I was fortunate enough to come work for Dr. Sohl each day I would see how happy people were with their new looks and how painless the procedures were.  I knew I had finally found someone who could help me.  Most of us are leery about going to the dentist and I was no different.  I was a little nervous at the beginning of the procedure but with Dr. Sohl's reassuring and gentle way I was immediately put at ease.  From the first injection to the time I was finished I never felt any pain at all.  Rosa was very attentive to my needs and Dr Sohl was constantly asking if I was alright.  I was able to go back to work that afternoon and that evening I took a couple of Advils and I was wonderful.  My new smile is so fantastic and the confidence it has given me is amazing.  Dr. Sohl and his caring staff took a problem that has been with me since childhood and made it a thing of the past.  Dr. Sohl truly is an amazing man and his ability to create beauty is beyond words.

The last thing I could have anticipated was writing a letter to a DENTIST to express my profound appreciation! However, over the past year, Dr. Michael Sohl and his gifted team of professionals have managed to turn my previous “horror story” dental visits into sensitive and pain free experiences.

Twenty years ago I had two wisdom teeth extracted on an emergency basis late one Friday afternoon. Two painful years later, the unfortunate memories were still top on my mind. I avoided dentists for many years until I read an article in the newspaper about the Nile Aesthetic Institute and Dr. Sohl’s approach to dentistry.

I scheduled my first appointment for a “consultation” with no intention of proceeding further. I explained my experiences and fears to a member of his staff prior to my visit and was taken completely by surprise when the entire office staff proved both sympathetic and prepared to address my plight! During that consultation I learned much had changed over the past 20 years regarding dental technology as well as alternatives for pain management which could ensure at a minimum, a neutral experience. Dr Sohl provided a graphic picture of the work I required as well as options I could consider (veneers, whiteners, etc).

Since that first consultation I have had several appointments to correct the neglect of many years. While I am fortunate that I have had few cavities in my life, I did require gum treatments as well as two broken tooth extractions and post (implant) replacements. I can honestly say pain has not been an issue as the alternatives of sedatives, gas and other methods effectively mitigated any “in office” pain issues. Of equal importance to me was afterwards, I have never experienced any pain!

The qualities of advanced technology, excellent skills and extreme sensitivity by everyone on Dr. Sohl’s staff have transformed my previous experiences from pain and horror to almost pleasant!

I am now very proud of my smile and have recommended Michael to friends who have had similar or worse experiences. In all cases they are amazed with the quality of work and pain free visits.

Before I found Dr. Sohl, I had been told by another dentist that it would take 2 years to complete the work needed to fix my teeth. He also said I would need surgery to have artificial bone placed in my gums to build up the bone in order to have any implants. Dr. Sohl completed everything in 4 months!
